Helicopter flying lesson in Bucharest

Experience the thrills of your first helicopter flying lesson. Discover the absolute freedom of the endless sky!

The lesson begins with a coaching, held by the pilot. You will learn some basic information about helicopters and how to control such an aircraft and then you will go on a complete tour of the helicopter and see the actual control surfaces.

The instructor will take off, show you some basic maneuvers and then is your turn to prove that you are a great copilot. Now you feel the emotions of flight on your own skin.

Venue: Bucharest, Ploiesti (the airfield is situated at about 15 km from the center of Ploiesti)

Exact location, directions and meeting place will be available to you once you have purchased your voucher(s). This information is listed on Activity Pass- the document which confirms your booking. You must book and complete your activity prior to voucher’s expiry date.

Please have in mind that this activity depends on the weather conditions and on obtaining all the approvals necessary for the flight. The commanding pilot has the responsibility to ensure maximum safety conditions during the flight; therefore he has the absolute authority to decide the interruption or postponing the mission at any time. We recommend you to book your activity in advance so that we will be able to reschedule if necessary.

How long the activity takes: the activity lasts 40 minutes: a 10 minutes coaching and a 30 minutes flight (which includes starting the engine, taking off and landing)

More Info:

• There is a weight limit of maximum 100 kg/person
• You will fly in a helicopter which can carry 2 people (1 pilot + 1 passenger)
• This activity is not addressed to people suffering from epilepsy or from any heart conditions
• Your transfer to the location is not included
• Please have in mind that, during winter, we not only have weather restrictions but also some airfields may be closed entirely. In this case, we will do our best to schedule your experience at a different venue.
