Performed figures: tailspin, looping reversal, wingover, branching.

Speeds of 230 km/h and overloads of + 6 G can be reached, which means you will feel 6 times heavier than you are.

Of course, you will be the one to decide how extreme the experience should be, and you will communicate with the pilot if you want the flight to be more smooth than acrobatic.

Definitions in aerial acrobatics

Aerobatics = sequence of maneuvers in which an aircraft is driven under the precise control of the pilot in unusual attitudes

Tailspin = aerobatic evolution in which a plane rotates like a drill, descending vertically

Looping=complex aerobatic evolution of an airplane, consisting of the execution of a loop in a vertical or oblique plane

Branching = aerobatic figure of flight, in a vertical plane, whereby the plane changes its direction by 180°, turning on a wing

Flipping = the acrobatic figure in which the aircraft was flying upside down

Wingover=an aerobatic figure in which the aircraft executes a rotational movement around its longitudinal axis without changing its direction or flight height

How aerial acrobatics began

Essential to the aerobatic technique is the ability to fly an aircraft upside down, which was first demonstrated on September 1, 1913, by Frenchman Adolphe Pégoud, test pilot for aviator Louis Blériot. Pégoud also flew other advanced maneuvers as part of a research program.
Other aerobatics innovators include Russian military pilot Petr Nesterov, who was the first pilot to "attempt the loop" on September 9, 1913.

It was not until the development of fighter aircraft in 1915 that pilots began to engage in serious aerial combat, discovering in the process that aerobatic skills could give them a significant advantage in a dog fight.

With this realization, and with the help of manufactured aircraft with improved aerobatic capabilities, pilots began to develop an increasing range of aerobatic maneuvers, mainly to avoid enemy aircraft.

Such skills were entirely self-taught or acquired from comrades-in-arms, and it was not until late 1916 that the first steps were taken towards the systematic teaching of aerobatic techniques, which until then had been discouraged (or even prohibited) in military flight training.

After World War I, ex-fighter pilots continued to hone their skills.

In the United States, so-called barnstormers appeared - pilots who visited rural areas performing stunts - while in Europe the most skilled war pilots were employed by aircraft manufacturers and displayed their skills and the manufacturers' products at public air shows.

Competitions between pilots followed, and these led to the development of rules and judging criteria.

The first and only Acrobatic World Cup was held in Paris in June 1934, with nine entries from six countries (all European).

Acrobatic events were also held at the 1936 Olympics in Berlin.
